So the family reunion was fun! It was great seeing my family that's from Ohio. I have missed out on 2-3 times to see them in the last couple of years so it was really good to finally get up there to visit. It stinks that they live over 5 hours away; it's so hard to find the time and money to get down there. Especially money. But it was good to see them regardless!

My life has been like a roller coaster of random emotions that pertain to not only my life outside of my job but also my life inside of my job. I wasn't able to really control them and I let them spiral out of control and effect not only my job but also my life. Jake and I spent a great weekend together and although we have had multiple talks about not letting things get to me and just being happy it wasn't soaking it. I guess I needed more than that when it came to talking about this subject. I'm truly blessed. This weekend he made it clear to me that if I keep this up it can only lead to us being distant (which is a fact) HOWEVER he also stated "but no matter what I'm here to help you. What can
we do to help you and make this better?" He consistently put us into one person and made me feel like he wasn't letting me do this on my own. Man ... What kind of guy does this?! I've been so rude and so distant to him when all he's done since the day we got together was be there for me. This weekend really opened my eyes. Why be upset... Why be miserable.. Why be depressed? I have God, a wonderful family, friends and not to mention the most wonderful bestfriend a person could ever ask for and recieve. So. Now that that is behind me, lets move on- shall we?

Jake and I ate at proof over the weekend and it was SO yummy! I used to work there; 3 years exactly. It was nice to show the boyfrannndd one of my most favorite places to work and eat at. I think he really enjoyed it! What's not to enjoy is how I see proof. We also went to the chef of proofs new restaraunt - the Garage bar. Also a great looking place with yummy drinks. I had a basil drink and he had a whiskey one both were really good! I also was able to view my first IRONMAN marathon. OMGosh these people are crazy! (in a good way) I can't imagine trying to do 140.6 total in swimming, biking, and running. It was amazing to see the endurance of these dedicated people and it really makes you not want to eat like a fatty or sit on the couch! Haha ... Inspired me. It was really nice to have this whole weekend basically to just myself and Jake. Although we did go out some this weekend it just felt more like ... US and focused on me and him. I loved it. In our entire relationship I would have to say that last weekend was my favorite so far. Well, other than our hunting weekends.

OH I almost forgot! Not only did I have an amazing time at the Lady A concert a few weeks back as well as some other random things I got to do with Jake and my friends but I also didn't miss the Zombie Walk this year! It's every year on August the 29th - basically you dress up like a zombie and walk up and down bardstown road. They actually shut down some of the streets and allow everyone to walk up and down freely. It's a little bizzare and almost Halloween like but it's so much fun if you aren't creeped out by that stuff and if you enjoy being silly. I went with my best friend Jackie and her fiance as well as two other friends. I have at least 4 more people I knew go out there but I was unable to see them ... Boo! But again it was a TON of fun!!! ... Oh and for your viewing pleasure - Zombie plank. BaHa!

I have traffic school tomorrow ... BLEH ... and Jake is staying in Bloomington, IN for work so I guess it works out any way because I'll be consumed for 4 hours in this boring traffic school and he'll be busy any way. I hope being there gives him a little breather even though he's working. Speaking of Bloomington - We'll be headed that way this weekend. I was going to go to Nashville with my IPC girls but I can't really afford it and I don't want to go and not be able to really eat and drink and stuff ... Hopefully we'll have another one of those soon when I have money to spend- So because I can't go to that Jake is hosting/going to an IU Alumni party in Bloomington and he invited me to go! I just need to get some IU gear ... I only have one Indiana shirt and ya know ... I'm a girl, I need something different. I guess I'll have to look around!
